Tonight's homework is to complete home link 2.2 and to study for the reading and spelling test. The children have been instructed to bring home their hard covered readers. I encourage you to read the story with your child and go over the main highlights.
Tomorrow's reading test will follow the same format as the previous tests; however there will be five short answer questions that pertain to the story added to the test as well. The students have answered other questions with short answers for the stories in class before in preparation for the short answer portion of the test. I will go over the questions and discuss them with the students before the test.
I also think it would be beneficial to give a mock spelling test at home to prepare for the test on Friday.
I would also like to mention that book reports are due on Friday as well.
