Homework for 11-26-08

Your child received a book report form today to work on over the extended weekend. Additionally, I am requesting each child read four different newspaper, magazine, or online articles. Write a brief summary of what was read. Include the author, date of publication, and title of newspaper, magazine, or website. Also include an opinion or thoughts on what was read. These assignments are due December 1, 2008. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.

Homework for 11-25-08

Tonight's homework will be to complete home link 3.6. There will not be any spelling or vocabulary words this week due to the holiday. However, I expect the students to read for a minimum of 25 minutes each night.

Your child received a book report form today. It will be due on 11-26-08. There will be no spelling or vocabulary words for next week.

Homework for 11-20-08

Homework for tonight will be to study for the reading and spelling tests. It would be a good idea to reread the story. Additionally, the students need to complete home link 3.4.

Homework for 11-19-08

Tonight's homework will be as follows:

1. Reread "Birdhouse for Rent" and complete the questions on page 241 in the text.
2. Put the spelling words in alphabetical order.

Homework for 11-18-08

Tonight's homework will be to write each spelling word in a sentence and complete home link 3.3.

Homework for 11-17-08

Tonight's homework is to complete home link 3.2 and to write each vocabulary word in a sentence.
